I want to like the food but not everything is fresh... Not very likely to come back soon.
Been Kirin buffet several times with coworkers or family. Good food and variety selection. Drink is included. They also have yougert and boba milk tea. I really like the lamb stew. Taste is so good.
The place of service is so bad, I, eat Korean dramas are almost 15 minutes or so, and he didn't give me that removed the service was bad.And to the three of us, just give us two pairs of tableware, and I told her this things are so special, special anger also special, very bad service. This place really, it is not recommended to his experience, in this look at me, he won't come up to me.But also sprinkle water dish in my meal, it's too bad.Very bad.
They serve big dishes and for fair prices. very kind staff. Highly recommended.
It's a meh buffet that lacks a lot of selection. If you're looking for things that are not seafood, the selection is dire to say the least. The food is alright quality but definitely not worth the dinner price. If you can make it on a weekday, it might be worth your money but beware, every holiday that lands on a weekday will almost certainly cost dinner price all day.
Hey it's Buffet you go get your email on a bulk up and they said oh I won't do this again and why are you 6 months later after you recover from the first time you're there again eating the same old stuff because just can't help but eat all that food all over again
Not worth it. $21.95 per person. Re-use sushi rice, small selection. Go to food court, if you want something fancy go to Cheesecake Factory or Benihana. Look at my salmon skin hand roll, it's junk.
The spread is huge and they've lots of seafood including crab legs, lobster, oysters, clams, eels, salmon and tuna sashimi etc. Non alcoholic drinks are included in the price. Food standard is quite ok for the price.
Buffet restaurant with good selection of sushi, sashimi & other dishes. Price reasonable. Service staff is pretty standard buffet style: polite & fairly attentive. Sushi & sashimi are fresher than other buffets I had. Other dishes are pretty good. The green tea ice cream mochi is good.
We loved Chinesse and Japanese buffets. This one just didnt caught it for me. Some of the food smells, no orange chicken, or brocolli beef. They dont even have the hot seeded salsa, only Sirracha.
Meh, it was better back in the days. Price went up, services gotten worst. Shrimp was mushy and selection weren't that great either. In my opinion when there is no lobsters they should lower the price because the price does not reflect the food items that were served.
Amazing food. Workers are very nice and the food lives up to your standards. Recommend this place for a small group gathering.
Did not like this buffet at all ridiculous price for not even that good cooked food. It’s either over cooked or not even cooked right at all. Definitely not returning here.
I come for my birthday every year.
Respect yourself and don't come here. The food had been sitting under heat lamps for so long the sashimi wasn't even red anymore
For a buffet, their dim sum dishes are above average. The froyo in the dessert section is pretty tasty. There was even a sea cucumber dish!
Closed for no reason, went out of business
Diminishing quality of food. Only highlight is volume eating. They never run out of food.
$14.95 for lunch Mon - Fri until 4 PM, which includes soft drink. There is Mongolian style BBQ, Chinese food, dim sum, sushi and rolls, udon, fruit, desert, ice cream, boba, and Thai ice tea , which is pretty good selection, and the food was good.
Nasty place and people that work here are mean. I got sick after eating here. Minus 5 stars.
Hot food is cold and cold food is room temperature.
Not expensive thus no much to expect neither
Good food and expensive buffet prices.
Best buffet in town! Many creativity and innovation compare to other Asian buffet. For example, they have Cantonese style lamb pot for the cold season, fish maw soup, lobster and cotton candy! For the variety and the prime upper scale location they are at, it is really reasonable! The always have some rewarding programs for the customers, pay attention to the local flyers and coupon books! Also I think they are one of the best sanitized restaurants in that area. Couple times when we visited on Sunday, they close the entire section to clean restroom for 20 minutes, so we had to wait. That’s the only thing I wanted to complain! Their sushi selection is amazing! When they just opened, I remembered they did a promotion for live sea urchin sashimi for every four people. I wish they could do it again!
One of the better buffet restaurants in the area. Lots of choices with reasonable prices. They have Champagne Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30am - 4pm. 50% on Sake and beers from 3pm - 6pm M-F. Don't forget to try their desserts too.
Closed? No sign explaining anything but lights were off and doors closed on a Saturday night. I've enjoyed going to this buffet for the past few times as I found the options plentiful and quality good. Other buffets offer greasy food but I found a good balance here. Sadly it looks like this business is closed for good.
I was here at the start of dinner everything was really fresh and very good. Although I have never had too many bad things here are lots of choices. As you can see hardly anybody here best time to come
Excellent time, good food with variety. Manager was very nice and helpful. Will always go back
Fantastic and flavorful food, I loved the atmosphere the spot has, and the staff members were nice. I will surely come back in the future.
I ate here & I’m so sorry I didn’t read all these one star reviews before I came here. The food is horrible and the service staff is mean and obnoxious. I wonder how the owners are able to push down truthful one star reviews and put the reviews they like on top? Very dishonest. Avoid this nasty place and rude staff. The food is sickening.
I went to Kirin buffet with my kid for lunch. When I show my coupon for 50%off of one person with regular price customer, the girl on the counter said she needed to check with the manager. After waiting in the front about 10 min, they showed up and said the coupon is not working for kids which it never stated anywhere in the coupon. Also the manager's attitude was rude and he didn't feel sorry at all. I am also not sorry that I won't go back to this shady restaurant with bad customer service not too mention that food are mediocre. Figure yourself.
Good Food. Nice place . Reasonal price
Typical Chinese and Asian style buffet. Located inside the shopping mall near the entrance of Macy's. Overall sushi and the rest of the food are good but not unique. Nice and comfortable environment. They don't provide a lot of lobsters tough. I like the steamed eggs and all soups like sweet and sour, lamb soup and some herbal soups. Not cheap but love to treat your family or parents once or while. If you go on major holidays like Chistmas, New Year Eve and New Year, they have one flat rate $24.95 but limited to 2 hours only. I recommend going on regular days. Seniors have 15% off.
This is the best and only Asian buffet that we would visit, about once a month. We always go for dinner on weekends. It's only $22 per person. They crab legs, raw oyster, roast duck, sushi sashimi ,,......and the best tom Yam soup in town. I though the price we pay and the kind of food we get is just amazing value! We've been to a few other Asian buffet but none of them come close in comparison in freshness, taste and variety! A lot of them offers seafood that is not fresh! The crab legs are in season now, November. Every thing was fresh and tasted great! I don’t know would anyone would give this place only one star. Love this place!
Many food to choose and good quality also
Price and food are amazing! Highly recommend you try it. They even have milk or thai tea for free with boba.
It's okay. The food was acceptable, the service is why one star. Don't expect to get you 2nd cup of soda filled.
The food was great the first time I went there, however, the net few times were not that great. The manager must have changed. The chocolate fountain is also off at some times.
I don’t have a problem paying for good food. This was not good food. If this is what food tastes like that has been sitting under heat lamps for days. It was awful. Run!
So good! Felt like eating a Gyro at Monasticism; very authentic and a true representation of Greek food. Dessert is also 10/10 they gave a great twist to traditional Loukoumades with plenty of options to choose from. Would definitely go again!
Came in with a party of 9 after a graduation. They were very accommodating and polite. Great food selection, very fresh and hot. Love the cold tea station, other places charge for Thai or Jasmine tea... This place doesn't and it's self-serve! Great table service and the food areas are very clean and full at all times. Best of all their prices are extremely reasonable, for being in a mall location.
Went there to celebrate my birthday but the foods were not fresh and dried for out too long due to slow business. This place changed owners and the future doesn't look promising. I probably won't go again for years to come.
I personally liked the food at the buffet. I was also pretty hungry so that's something to consider. I don't think the value is all there if you're looking for quality over quantity, but if you are just trying to eat then the place will do.
They serve variety of Asian food. My favor are crab legs, shrimp, pork belly, hibachi BBQ, cajun craw fish, deserts, teppanyaka, lamb pot, lamb sour soup , tom yum kung soup, hot and sour soup, and many many more. Service is good. Parking is free
Nice food
My family is never coming here again. We called on the phone before coming to eat and was quoted one price, then when we all arrived, they changed the prices on us and said it was in error. This is not an honorable way to run a business. All these lies after everyone made a long drive and to find parking. Wasted half our day. Never again, unless the business closes down and there is new management and the incompetent staff there are replaced. Bunch of LIARS and CHEATERS!!!!
Not sure if they've changed ownership or what... both the quality of food and service have gone subpar. Kirin used to be one of my favorites. Hope they'll make improvements as I hate to see them go out of business.
This place is the worst buffet I have ever eaten at. The food was flavorless, the desserts and breads were crusty and dry, the general food selection was lacking in variety, the containers were dirty with other food crusted on it, the staff was not friendly, and it cost $43 for two people to not be able to really eat or enjoy 95% of the food. Save your money and eat at the food court.
Kirin buffet is closed. Me and my family enjoyed coming here for the food all the way from Orange County. We would drive to the buffet just to eat there. Then just found out that they’re out of business. No sign or anything, just no lights, closed doors, and an empty buffet. It even shows on google that it is open and that it closes at 9pm. Was very sad about this cause their food and dessert was so good to eat. Everything was at an affordable price. But it seems like we’re not going to be coming back anymore.
Excellent foods selection and fresh!!
